Faith allows us to believe in things we cannot see. If we want to know God lives, if want to know the truth of anything we have the promise that the Holy Ghost will manifest it to us if we ask with a sincere heart.
We know if we have faith, we have hope. If we have hope, we can have charity. This pure love casts out all fear. With this confidence we can live up to our privileges. But we can't do it all and we can't do it alone.
As we come unto Christ, through the grace of God which the enabling power of the Atonement, it is this part that says I will help you do what you cannot do for yourselves and become perfected in Him. This perfection we feel is the sanctifying power of the Atonement as we continue to meek and lowly in heart or in other words to have a broken heart and a contrite spirit which is humility unto repentance.
We are not alone in this endeavor. He sends angels to attend us. Some we see and many we don't. It is during this holiday season where we invite and are more open to the angels among us. But, they aren't just here all month long, they are here all year long. Don't wait for December to remember.
